Department 8 – Hedegårdene in Kvaglund is currently undergoing an extensive renovation project. Detailed information about the overall plan can be found under the “News” section in the left menu.

The residential area features child-friendly, enclosed courtyard environments that provide a safe and spacious setting for the large, well-designed apartments. Ongoing renovations have taken place throughout the department, including the option to have a new kitchen installed. Every one of the 489 homes is equipped with internet connection points.

Hedegårdene also offers several modern communal laundries, centrally situated within the different courtyards, where residents can conveniently book their laundry times online. The bus service has numerous stops nearby, and the department is connected via a network of paths to both the city as well as the various educational institutions located close by.

Leisure time can be enjoyed in the department’s recreational areas, which allow for exercise, barbecuing, and social gatherings. The surrounding picturesque natural landscapes, including fields with grazing cattle, present ideal routes for extended walks.

Various events take place in the residents’ house, while the Community Project 3i1 provides numerous activities in which residents are encouraged to participate. The housing department is situated within close proximity to schools, childcare institutions, and shopping facilities.
