Fårup and Højager Dormitories offer appealing student housing conveniently located close to educational institutions. These accommodations, situated along Ringvejen and within Højager Dormitory, feature various kitchen layouts—some with separate kitchens, others open-plan—all furnished with white units from Svane. Each kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove hood, and cooker. Notably, the two-room apartments are equipped with four individual hotplates and a tabletop oven. Bathrooms are tiled with brown flooring and walls covered in textured wallpaper. Storage sheds are available for all residents, with some having personal units while others share.

The dormitory complexes consist of single-story terraced houses. Fårup Dormitory, built with red bricks in 1996 and 2000, is located in southern Jelling. Højager Dormitory, operational since 1984, lies in the western part of Jelling. Both sites provide communal rooms that can be rented at very reasonable rates, alongside shared laundry facilities. Outdoor areas are designed for social engagement, often bustling around amenities like the grill, fire pit, or the beach volleyball court found at Højager Dormitory. These communities maintain a strong social network, utilizing social media for communication. Internet access is facilitated through a partnership with Jelling Radio & TV, which offers modems for a small fee. Although these homes are not specifically adapted for disabled residents, wheelchair users will be accommodated with appropriate solutions.

Pets are prohibited in one-room units.

Both dormitories enjoy excellent transport connections to University College Lillebælt. Residents can easily reach Vejle by bus or train. The town of Jelling provides a variety of amenities, including cafés, specialty shops, and cultural venues such as Byens Hus, hosting concerts, cinema, and a library. Nearby attractions include Fårup Lake, the golf course, and pleasant green spaces.
