The residences at Fårup- and Højagerkollegiet offer appealing student housing located near educational institutions. Situated along Ringvejen, the apartments at Højagerkollegiet feature built-in wardrobes. Kitchen layouts vary: some units have separate kitchens while others include open-plan designs. All kitchens come equipped with white cabinetry from Svane, complemented by a fridge-freezer, an extractor hood, and a stove. Specifically, the two-room apartments are fitted with four separate cooking plates and a countertop oven. The bathrooms include showers and are finished with brown floor tiles and wallpapered walls. Each tenant has access to storage sheds; some have private ones while others share with fellow residents.

These two dormitory complexes are composed of single-story terraced houses. Fårupkollegiet, constructed from red bricks, was built in 1996 and 2000 and is located in the southern section of Jelling. Højagerkollegiet, established in 1984, lies in the western part of Jelling. Both sites include a communal room available for rent at very reasonable rates. Laundry facilities are provided on both premises. The outdoor common areas encourage social interaction, often hosting activities by the grill, the fire pit, or a beach volleyball court found at Højagerkollegiet. A vibrant social community thrives across the two complexes, maintained in part through social media channels. Additionally, an agreement with Jelling Radio & TV allows residents to obtain a modem for internet connection for a small fee. Although the apartments are not specifically designed for wheelchair users, accommodations can be arranged if required.

Regarding pets, keeping animals is prohibited in the single-room apartments.

The surrounding neighborhood offers convenient connections to studies. Both dormitories are located within easy reach of University College Lillebælt. Public transportation via bus or train facilitates travel to Vejle. The town of Jelling provides amenities such as cafés, specialty shops, and Byens Hus, which hosts music events, a cinema, and a library. The vicinity also includes Fårup Lake, a golf course, and attractive green spaces.
