Searching for a flatmate at Amager Strandpark

A room measuring 9.7 square meters is available for rent, offered either fully or partially furnished according to preference. This space includes a large bed sized 140x200 cm, a desk, and a television equipped with Apple TV and a Netflix subscription. The earliest move-in date is at the end of August 2026, though flexibility extends to mid-September or the beginning of October if that better aligns with your schedule, as the current tenants are looking for the ideal candidate.

The preferred minimum rental period lasts until at least the end of January 2026.

The entire apartment encompasses two bedrooms, a living room, a spacious bathroom, a kitchen that is fully outfitted, a sunny terrace, and a hallway, totaling 108 square meters. Smoking is permitted only outdoors on the terrace.

You would be sharing the apartment with two male flatmates who have been partners since 2012. Lars-Terje, 51 years old and Danish, works freelance within journalism, publishing, editing, translation, teaching writing, and conducting opinion polls. Viroj, aged 43 and Thai, is employed as a university lecturer in economics and has interests in photography and graphic design.

Both flatmates enjoy traveling, art, photography, nature, and hiking, and they hope to find someone who appreciates occasional social activities such as dinners, movies, exhibitions, or hikes together.

Constructed in 2014, the building is located 300 meters from the beach and directly across from a metro station providing a 7-minute journey to Kongens Nytorv and another 7 minutes to the airport. The neighborhood offers numerous supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants nearby.

The room is sized for a single occupant, though visitors are welcome.

Rent is set at 6,300 DKK monthly, which includes accommodation costs, heating, water usage, shared Wi-Fi, and a communal Netflix subscription. In addition to this rent, expenses for electricity and cleaning supplies are split three ways, with your share approximately 200 DKK monthly. Registration of address for CPR purposes is permitted.

The kitchen contains a dishwasher, and tenants are welcome to use all kitchen utensils. Additionally, you will have designated shelves within the refrigerator and a storage box in the freezer.

Applicants of any nationality are welcome, and interested parties are encouraged to share some personal background and reasons for wanting to move in.

Please be aware that the photos available are somewhat outdated since the room has been rented continuously since 2016 and replaced infrequently; the previous tenant stayed three years. While the building no longer allows dogs, small pets such as cats are acceptable. The room's walls have recently been painted, giving it a fresh, new appearance.
