The residences at Fårup- and Højagerkollegiet offer appealing student housing conveniently located near educational institutions. Situated along Ringvejen and at Højagerkollegiet, these homes provide various opportunities for communal engagement. Each unit includes built-in wardrobes, while kitchens vary between separate rooms and open-plan designs; all furnished with white cabinetry from Svane. Essential appliances such as a fridge-freezer, range hood, and stove come standard. The two-room apartments feature four distinct burners and a countertop oven. Bathrooms are equipped with showers and display brown floor tiles alongside textured wall coverings. Storage sheds are available for all tenants, with some having private sheds and others sharing with fellow residents.

These dormitory complexes consist of single-level rowhouses. Fårupkollegiet, constructed from red bricks between 1996 and 2000, is located in southern Jelling. In contrast, Højagerkollegiet, established in 1984, can be found in the western section of the town. Both complexes offer communal rooms available for rent at very reasonable rates, as well as shared laundry facilities. Outdoor spaces are designed to encourage social interaction, featuring amenities such as barbecue areas, fire pits, and at Højagerkollegiet, a beach volleyball court. The social environment is well-developed and facilitated through social media platforms. Additionally, residents may obtain internet modem access through an arrangement with Jelling Radio & TV for a small fee. Pets are prohibited in the one-room apartments.
