Some kitchens offer a separate layout while others are open-plan; all are equipped with white cabinetry from Svane, alongside a fridge-freezer, extractor hood, and stove. The two-room units differ by having four individual cooking plates and a countertop oven. Bathroom floors are tiled in brown, complemented by textured wallpaper on the walls. The two dormitory complexes consist of single-story terraced houses. Fårupkollegiet, constructed in red bricks, was built in 1996 and 2000, and is situated in the southern area of Jelling. In contrast, Højagerkollegiet, which opened in 1984, lies in the western part of Jelling. Both locations include a common room that can be rented for modest fees, as well as laundry facilities accessible to residents. The outdoor spaces foster a lively community atmosphere with amenities such as barbecue and bonfire areas. At Højagerkollegiet, there is also a designated beach volleyball court. Residents benefit from a strong social network, which incorporates communication through social media platforms. Additionally, arrangements with Jelling Radio & TV allow tenants to rent a modem for internet access at a small cost.
