GRØNNINGEN RESIDENCES

This collection of townhouses, each featuring its own garden and well-designed layout, is situated within a neighborhood especially suitable for families with children.

Regarding the properties themselves, they boast spacious floor plans complemented by large windows that allow ample natural light. Accessibility has been prioritized, with no doorsteps throughout, enabling easy navigation for individuals using walkers. Bedrooms come equipped with built-in wardrobes for efficient storage. Kitchens are assessed and updated as needed upon tenant turnover, and appliances such as refrigerator-freezers, stoves, and range hoods are included. While some units have hookups for dishwashers, installation requires approval and, if the necessary connections are absent, tenants must cover installation costs. Bathroom layouts differ between units, but each contains a window to facilitate ventilation in an environmentally responsible way. Tenants may apply for permits to install washing machines and condenser dryers; washing machine connections are present, and if dryer connections do not already exist (perhaps from a previous occupant), tenants are responsible for installation expenses. Utility costs for water are invoiced monthly in advance through the landlord, whereas heating and electricity are charged directly by the respective suppliers.

The residential complex comprises one- and two-story townhouses built between 1974 and 1976. The buildings have been recently renovated, featuring insulated gables clad with red and yellow bricks. Thanks to the large window sections in all rooms, the interiors enjoy bright and open atmospheres. Located in a child-friendly and traffic-safe environment, the community offers shared laundry facilities and a communal hall available for private events. Twelve allotment gardens are available to residents for lease adjacent to the housing area. Outside, well-kept green spaces include playgrounds, picnic tables, a pétanque court, and a sports field where residents of all ages can indulge in games. Pet ownership of up to two dogs or cats is permitted, with the stipulation that animals must be leashed when outside private premises. Satellite dishes may be installed upon application, and television services are provided by Boxer or TDC.

In terms of location, Grønningen is nestled in the western section of Faxe, bordering open fields. The neighborhood remains within walking distance of the town center, which hosts grocery stores, specialty shops, a library, and a cinema. Public transportation is accessible with a bus stop just 300 meters away, offering routes to Næstved, Karise, and Haslev. Educational institutions and daycare facilities lie approximately 1 to 1.5 kilometers from the housing area. Faxe also boasts amenities such as a stadium, sports halls, and a swimming pool. Nearby natural attractions include Faxe Quarry, a popular spot for fossil hunting where visitors may discover fossils that are 63 million years old. For those less fortunate in fossil hunting, the Faxe Geomuseum provides an alternative cultural experience. The beach, situated less than 10 kilometers from Faxe, offers additional recreational opportunities.
