The housing at Fårup and Højagerkollegiet offers attractive student apartments conveniently located near educational institutions. Within these residences on Ringvejen/Højagerkollegiet, tenants benefit from fixed cabinets inside their units. Kitchen layouts vary; some feature enclosed kitchens while others have open-plan designs. All kitchens are fitted with white Svane cabinetry and include a fridge-freezer, extractor hood, and stove. The two-room apartments stand out by having four separate cooking plates and a countertop oven. Bathrooms are equipped with brown tiles on the floors and walls covered in textured wallpaper. Storage sheds are provided for all residents, with some having individual units and others sharing.

These two housing complexes consist of single-story terraced houses. Fårupkollegiet, constructed from red bricks in 1996 and 2000, is situated in the southern part of Jelling, whereas Højagerkollegiet, established in 1984, lies in the western section of the town. Both locations include common rooms available for rent at very reasonable rates and feature communal laundry facilities. The outdoor communal areas are inviting and frequently host a variety of activities such as gatherings around the grill or fire pit, and at Højagerkollegiet, residents can enjoy competing in beach volleyball on a dedicated court. A strong social community thrives in both residences, partly supported through active use of social media for communication.
