A spacious, tranquil room is available for rent within our large apartment located near Østerport Station, downtown Copenhagen, and the scenic Kastellet-an inviting green space ideal for running and walking. The room comes fully equipped with furnishings including a 160 cm bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and mirror. Bedding essentials such as towels, duvet, pillow, and linen are provided as well.

Meal plans may be included for an additional fee: full board at 2,000 DKK per month, two meals daily for 1,500 DKK, or a customized arrangement based on your preferences, with a minimum monthly charge of 700 DKK. Please note that we are unable to store any privately purchased groceries. Our shopping habits focus mainly on organic products, and we maintain a mostly vegetarian diet while occasionally consuming fish and meat.

Regarding who we are, we are a married couple whose grown children have moved out. We prioritize organic, vegetarian, and healthy eating alongside baking fresh bread at home. When time permits, we share dinner together, using the opportunity to discuss current global topics and reflect on our day. Breakfast and lunch are usually solitary meals. To ensure a good fit, we prefer an initial meeting either in person or via FaceTime/WhatsApp.

Ideal tenants are aged between 20 and 30 years, possess strong English skills-preferably native level-and relocate to Copenhagen for employment, internships, or studies lasting at least four months. Independence in cooking and cleaning up after meals is expected. Interest in nutrition, culinary activities, and comfort in a kitchen environment is important. Environmental awareness and tidiness, particularly regarding personal room and bathroom upkeep, are essential qualities.

Living here means some dinners will be prepared for you, relieving you from shopping and cooking responsibilities on those days, while on others, you will take charge of meal preparation and serving. You have full freedom to come and go as you please and can register at our address. Laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer are available for your use about once a week. This arrangement offers you insight into Danish family life and traditions, with our support and advice always accessible. Visitors are permitted occasionally, but overnight guests are only allowed under special circumstances by prior agreement.
